Ginger is a Herb with underground stem. It can be used as Medicine and as Spice. Also it can be used as juice. Ginger can be used fresh, in dry or powder form, and also as oil.
USE OF GINGER AS MEDICINE
Ginger is used for treatment of stomach pains, diarrhea, nausea and morning sickness during pregnancy, nausea caused by surgery or cancer treatment, loss of appetite, stress, heartburn. It relieves gas, arthritis, inflammation, body pains, menstrual pains, cough, improves your breath, increases sexual desire, strengthens immunity, gives energy, used for upper respiratory tract infection,
protects one against alzheimers disease, used as laxative to move the bowels, and also used to treat burns. It reduces the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease. It is an energy booster. Also it is good for a healthy complexion and hair.
USE OF GINGER FOR PAIN REDUCTION
Muscle pains caused by exercise, can be reduced by 25% with daily intake of ginger.

USE OF GINGER FOR MENSTRUAL PAINS
Ginger can also give relief to those who experience. Menstrual pains.
USE OF GINGER FOR NAUSEA CAUSED BY CANCER TREATMENT
In treating this condition, the patient can either chew the raw ginger, or drink ginger tea, and will feel relief.

USE OF GINGER FOR NAUSEA AND VOMITING DURING PREGNANCY
In treating Nausea and Vomiting during Pregnancy, ginger can be used in form of ginger ale drink, ginger lozenges, candies, or ginger tea.

The use of fresh ginger to flavour Foods, Beverages, and Drinks, avoids the unnecessary adding of Sodium. Since it is used in small quantities, it does not contain much calories, carbohydrate, protein, fibre.
Ginger contains reasonable anti-inflammatory and antioxidant beneficial compounds to health such as salicylate, capsaicin, curumin, gingerols, caffeic acid, and beta-carotene.
It provides the following vitamins and minerals. Protein, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Carbohydrate, Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Sugars, Dietary Fibre, Sodium, Niacin, Riboflavin,
Zinc, Magnesium, Folate, and Phosphorus.

OTHER USES OF GINGER
1. Peel and grate ginger before use. Steep ginger in boiling water to make Ginger

3. Use fresh or dried ginger for your Salad Dressing.

4. Use fresh or dried ginger to spice up your Fish Recipe.

ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Ginger, for most people, does not cause any known side effects. However, some people experience symptoms of acid reflux, i.e heartburn, acid indigestion; regurgitation, i.e sensation of acid backing up into your throat or mouth; dyspepsia i.e stomach discomfort.
