HEALTH BENEFITS OF DRINKING WATER

It is said that about 60 percent of the body is made of water.
Therefore when you drink enough water, you maintain the body's fluid
balance which helps transportation of nutrients in the body,
regulation of the body's temperature, absorption, digestion, creation
of saliva, etc.

We loose a lot of water continuously from skin evaporation, breathing,
urine, and stool, and we need to replace these losses daily to
maintain good health.

The functions of water are as follows
1. Boost the Immune System, thus protect the body from ailments.

2. Promotes Weight Loss - A good number of Studies have revealed that
when you drink enough water, to the required specification daily,
naturally you consume fewer calories, so this leads to weight loss.

3. Increases Energy and Relieves Fatigue - When you do your exercise,
you perspire and lose water, and eventually you are tired. To regain
energy and relieve that fatigue you drink water.

4. Flushes Out Toxins And Maintains A Clear Complexion -

When you drink enough water, it flushes out toxins in the body, thus
helping you maintain a clearer skin. Water can reduce the risk of
pimples, giving you a younger skin, healthier body, and shinier hair.

5. A Remedy For Headache - When you have had enough alcohol, and you
experience hangover, drink a glass of water to hydrate the body and
stop any severe headache.

First form the habit of brushing your teeth first thing in the morning

another, until the day is over. Of course you could also go for some

damage to your teeth.

Know that once you are thirsty you are dehydrated. Just keep drinking
water from time to time to keep yourself hydrated.

tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, lettuce, cucumber, watermelon,
grapefruit, each of which contains over 85% water. Some other foods
can also give you some quantity of water.

For those who find it difficult to drink water as they should, such
as, a sick person, a pregnant woman experiencing morning sickness, add
a little lime, lemon, or ginger to your water, to improve the taste
and help you drink more water than you usually do.

If you are drinking enough water, your urine will be clear. If
however it is dark yellow and cloudy, it means you are dehydrated and
need to drink more water.

If however, after you have done all required, you are getting thirsty
a lot and visit the toilet more, you may have an underlying problem
like. diabetes. You should see the doctor to verify the ailment and

water because of the belief that it causes contraction of muscles.
Indeed most health professionals recommend drinking warm water for
optimal health.

for warm water will be doing that at his/her own peril. When you have
a fever, cold water helps to cool the body. Some, however, are of the

having cold baths help to burn fat.

I advise at this stage that you either boil your drinking water, or

appropriate to drink warm or cold water. Follow your instincts, and
at the same time play safe by listening to the warnings given by the
