HEALTH RISKS OF ALCOHOL

God Bless You Dear Readers.

Alcoholism, like smoking, is an addiction to the consumption of
alcoholic drink, affecting physical and mental health, etc.

After drinking alcohol, it travels very fast through the body, as it
is absorbed into the blood stream, and so affects the entire body.
Thus alcohol abuse can endanger one's life.

When a person starts experiencing difficulty in talking, making
slurred speech; difficulty in walking, staggering; and vomits; then
that person has taken too much alcohol.
Also too much drinking makes it impossible for one to think clearly,
form memories, it can cause seizures and delirium. Long term drinking
of alcohol shrinks the frontal lobes of the brain, and this can
progress to permanent brain damage, causing dementia.

The damage to the nervous system as a result of alcohol abuse, can
result in pain, numbness, abnormal sensations in the feet and hands.
Also, it can result in deficiency of thiamine (Vitamin B1), causing
involuntary rapid eye movements, weakness or paralysis of the eye
muscles.

The pancreas which helps to process and eliminate waste products like
alcohol from the body, secrets digestive enzymes, and combined with
bile from the gallbladder, digests food. The pancreas also regulates
insulin and glucose. Excessive alcohol causes the pancreas to produce
toxic substances, thus causing malfunctioning of the pancreas. And so
a serious problem that can destroy the pancreas referred to as
pancreatitis is the resultant effect.

The liver breaks down harmful substances, including alcohol. When one
drinks excessively, alcoholic hepatitis which can lead to jaundice
(yellowing of the skin and eyes) occurs. Chronic liver inflammation
can lead to severe scarring referred to as cirrhosis, and the
formation of scar tissue can destroy the liver. When the liver can
not function, toxic substances remain in the body, and so liver
disease is life threatening. Women tend to suffer higher risk of
alcoholic liver disease than men because their bodies absorb more
alcohol and take longer to process.

The inability of the pancreas and liver to function properly, gives
rise to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Also damage to the pancreas
makes the body unable to utilize sugar as a result of lack of insulin,
which can cause hyperglycemia. For diabetics, unbalanced blood sugar
levels is a dangerous problem. Alcohol abuse can also cause liver
cancer.

Alcohol abuse can destroy the digestive system, from the mouth to the
colon, damage the salivary glands, irritate the mouth and tongue,
leading to gum disease, tooth decay, tooth loss. It can cause
ulcers in the esophagus, acid reflux, and heartburn, stomach ulcers,
and inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis), malnutrition;
mouth, throat, esophagus and colon cancers.

Alcohol abuse can also cause alcoholics to suffer from heart problem.
They experience circulatory system complications such as poisoning of
the heart muscle cells, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure,
stroke, heart attack, heart failure.

Other side effects of alcohol abuse are erectile dysfunction,
inhibition of hormone production, it affects testicular function, and
causes infertility in men. In the case of women, alcohol abuse can
cause their menstruation to stop, resulting in infertility.

For a pregnant woman, alcohol abuse can increase her risk of breast
cancer, miscarriage, premature delivery, and stillbirth. Alcohol can
affect fetal development, and problems referred to as fetal alcohol
spectrum disorders (FASD), can occur, such as physical abnormalities,
learning difficulties, emotional problems, all of which can last a
lifetime.

Alcohol abuse causes osteoporosis (thinning bones), as the body cannot
produce new bones, and the bones fracture. The muscles are prone to
weakness, cramps, atrophy.

The immune system of an alcoholic is weak and can not fight illness.
Alcoholics are more likely to have pneumonia or tuberculosis than
others, and also, they have a high risk of having many forms of
cancer.

In view of the health risks associated with drinking alcohol, it is in
the best interest of everyone, especially alcoholics, to try and put a
stop to drinking alcohol. Abrupt stopping of drinking can cause
symptoms of withdrawal, e.g. nervousness, tremors, anxiety, nausea and
vomiting, and in severe cases, it can cause confusion, hallucinations,
and seizures.

For those who may be experiencing difficulties in stopping drinking,
they can effectively use the Tiens Aura-Energy Stone for this purpose.
When a glass or bottle of alcoholic drink is places on the
Aura-Energy Stone, for about 20 minutes, it reduces the alcohol
content to zero
level, and so the original alcoholic drink becomes a non alcoholic
drink. Do not take my word for it, try it and your own experience
will be all the proof you need.

Regarding detoxification of the body of an alcoholic, Tianshi and
Fohow Products can effectively do this, and heal the patient.
